German automobile giant Mercedes Benz has won hearts online when it made a special wheelchair for a dog named Bunny, who lost both her hind legs after getting hit by a car.

Bunny was abandoned by her owners following the accident. Fortunately, she came under the care of animal rescuers.

Animal rescuer Henry Friedman, who was taking care of Bunny, posted her video on Instagram. In this clip, a person wrote, “This dog deserves the Mercedes-Benz of wheelchairs”. This prompted Friedman to reach out to the luxury car makers who surprisingly agreed to get a custom-made wheelchair for Bunny.

Earlier this week, Friedman shared clips of this incredible story. These clips soon gathered lakhs of likes.

Commenting on one of these videos, an Instagram user wrote, “This story made me literally cry. How can anyone with a heart leave their pet, animal dog or fur baby like this. This is so heartbreaking I’m so glad Bunny was rescued and brought to the USA and so happy she has healed found a loving home and now is able to get around even faster. You look amazing Bunny”.

Mercedes Benz USA wrote: “Might just be our favorite vehicle of all time 🥹”.

An Instagram user highlighted the importance of adopting dogs and wrote, “Very thankful that Bunny survived and is fortunate to live—and she’s still happy!! ❤️ There are soo many Bunny’s out there. Humans must do better to prevent these tragedies from happening to our innocent animals. 😞 Please ADOPT from your local shelter and save a life vs biting designer dogs from breeders and puppy mills!!!!!!🙏❤️
