One user asked, “How much was your starting salary as a probationer in the IAS?” Singh answered, “2200.” Another user, Dr Apurva, enquired, “Sir, if you had joined, what would your current view be? Would you try to join again if given the opportunity? Just asking out of curiosity.” To this, Singh responded, “Not really. IAS provides amazing opportunities across sectors. It’s immensely satisfying when you contribute to social causes and public welfare.”
