Firecrackers nearly hit baby at family event; netizens call out parental negligence

A viral video shared by Instagram user Akash Gupta depicts a disturbing incident at a family function, likely a baby’s birthday celebration. The video shows parents walking with their baby in a decorated stroller amid fireworks. Suddenly, a firework explodes dangerously close to the baby and parents.

The mother sustains a slight injury on the forehead, and the baby is seen unattended. The baby’s grandmother rushes in to protect the child. Gupta’s caption for the video reads: “Is it worth putting your infant’s life at risk just to show off? Look at grandma, such a sweetheart and the most responsible one in the family ❤️. This is why you should always have your parents around your kids—the love of grandparents is incomparable!”

Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj, sharing the video on X, expressed concern for the child, clarifying that the infant is not related to the woman and speculating that she may have taken someone else’s child.
