One usually associates activities like playing with crackers with youngsters. However, now a video is going viral that shows that even the elderly can indulge in some fun involving firecrackers.

The video, reportedly taken in Kerala, shows an old woman holding a chain of firecrackers and moving from one spot to another as the firecrackers burst around her. The woman, dressed in a saree, carries out this daring act in a public place even as some onlookers watch her.

This video was posted online by a popular Instagram page that goes by the username of @evershining_media on March 13. So far, it has gathered thousands of likes. Commenting on it, an Instagram user wrote: “‘Super Amma!” Another person jokingly wrote, “Ammachi has no ears and no eyes. Then even if you give an atom bomb, it will be exploded 😝😝😝.”

This is not the only video from Kerala that shows elderly women doing adventurous tasks. In February, a video of a 67-year-old woman acing an adventure sport went viral. The video shared online by Instagram user Shy Nu (@yathrikan_200) shows the elderly woman, clad in a saree, unflinchingly riding the rope cycle as if it is the most casual thing in the world.
