‘Desi jugad’: Diljit Dosanjh’s fans catch a glimpse of Jaipur concert from PG balcony, video goes viral

As a part of his ‘Dil-Luminati’ tour, global artist Diljit Dosanjh kick-started his second concert leg in Jaipur. While social media is abuzz with multiple videos, one clip, in particular, showing PG boys watching Dosanjh’s concert from the building’s balcony is grabbing eyeballs.

Shared by an Instagram handle @beingjaipurites, the viral clip shows several boys standing on a balcony of a building located in the vicinity of Dosanjh’s concert venue, Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC) in the Sitapura area. A boy can be seen climbing on a structure to catch a glimpse of the concert.

The said video amassed over 17 million views as social media users flocked to the comment section with their hilarious reactions. “If they had kept Rs 200 entry fee, they would have been able to afford a month’s rent,” a user wrote. “These are like platinum seats,” another user commented.

“Silver seats during Diljit’s Delhi concert was this far,” a third user reacted.

Ahead of the performance scheduled on Sunday evening, Dosanjh was welcomed by Princess Diya Kumari, a prominent member of the Royal Family of Jaipur and the current Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan. Expressing his gratitude, Dosanjh wrote, “Beautiful pink city Jaipur, Rajasthan…it was a beautiful experience thank Princess Diya Kumari.”

Earlier in 2024, Dosanjh toured Europe, performing in cities including Paris, London, Dublin, and Amsterdam. The singer commenced the India leg of his Dil-Luminati Tour 2024 in New Delhi last month. He is scheduled to perform in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune, Lucknow, and Kolkata. The grand finale of his India tour is slated in Guwahati on December 29.
