CCTV captures tense face-off between dogs and lions in Gujarat’s Amreli. Watch

CCTV cameras installed at the gate of a cowshed in Thoradi village, Savarkundla, Amreli district, Gujarat, captured an intense face-off between guard dogs and two lions that wandered into the area. The footage of the incident from Sunday was shared on X by @deshgujarat.

In the video, a lion can be seen approaching the gate but is startled by two fearless dogs on the other side of the gate. Soon, another lion enters the scene, and this one, more ferocious than the first, pulls the gate violently. The dogs can be seen standing their ground, eventually chasing the big cats away.

The scene was captured by two different CCTV cameras, from different angles.

The cowshed is located some 70 km away from the Gir National Park, home to Asiatic lions, reports said.
