Harsh Punjabi, founder of Dot Company and a content creator, had a suggestion for Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa. In a post on X, he proposed Blinkit should introduce an “ATM-like” service where customers could get cash delivered to their doorstep in under 10 minutes against a payment made via UPI. Calling his idea “super helpful,” the Pune-based entrepreneur tagged Dhindsa in his tweet: “Hey @albinder please start an ATM-like service on Blinkit. Users will pay via UPI and you can deliver cash at doorstep in under 10 minutes.”

Harsh also explained the reason behind the unusual request: “Leaving for a trip and need cash. Gharpe total Rs 100 cash hai (There is only Rs 100 at home). Don’t want to go to the ATM. But will have to,” he wrote.

The post gained a lot of traction on X, but netizens were not having it.
One said, “Saans bhi le le humare behalf pe Blinkit, itne alsi hogaye hai hum (Breathe on our behalf, Blinkit, we have become that lazy.)”
Another user wrote, “And let’s become laziest now and not even move muscle.”
A third user said, “It’s a great idea, but the 18% GST on delivery charges will ruin the mood.”
Meanwhile, someone pointed out the irony, saying, “This service already exists—it’s called talking to your neighbours or local shopkeepers, and it often takes less than 10 minutes.”
Blinkit, a quick-commerce company that delivers groceries and daily essentials, recently added electronics to its kitty. Dhindsa announced on X that users can order items like laptops, monitors, and printers, and all of it will be delivered in just 10 minutes.
