Apple CEO Tim Cook, on a visit to India for launching stores in Mumbai and Delhi, has shared glimpses of his trip to Delhi’s Lodhi Art District, where the billionaire lauded the St+art India Foundation.

Impressed by the vibrant artworks, the Apple CEO wrote on Twitter, “Delhi’s Lodhi Art District is a remarkable public space. Congratulations to the St+art India Foundation and so many amazing artists for capturing Indian life so powerfully. And thank you to Dattaraj Naik for showing me how you design your murals on iPad.”

Netizens were delighted to watch Cook enjoying the artworks. A Twitter user commented, “Tim Cook knows how to strike the right chords with the Indian audience.” Another user wrote, “This art looks incredible. It’s great to see #TimCook staying in #India 🇮🇳 to explore and witness the outstanding talent that people like Dattaraj Naik have done and how #Apple’s products, such as the #iPad, really help people expand their creativity and other objectives.” A third user remarked, “Its an amazing place ! The tech giant’s second store in India, Apple Store Saket, will be open to the public from Thursday. The store will open a new chapter for the national capital and the company will showcase the latest products and services of Apple and provide sessions and support to customers.

The popular art district has over 65 stunning murals done by and artists from India, Iran, Germany and Japan, among other countries. India’s first art district, it is believed to be the last colony set up by the British before they left the country.
