Roger Federer recently had a “fast and furious” moment during his Thailand vacation with his parents. A video of the tuk-tuk ride that the legendary tennis player posted on Instagram has also caught Deepika Padukone’s attention.

In the viral video, Federer can be seen recording his tuk-tuk ride while his parents Robert and Lynette Federer overtake him in another three-wheeler. “Fast and furious. Tuk-Tuk edition,” he wrote in the caption.

The video has drawn numerous comments—including Deepika Padukone’s “My Favourite Uncle Robert!”—and viewed by more than 11 million people on the platform.

While some social media users were happy to see the tennis player travelling across the globe, Thailand residents extended their welcome in the comments. A user wrote, “Welcome to Thailand. We love you so much. Enjoy your time in our country.” Another user wrote, “This has basically just become Roger Federer travel account and I’m very pleased with it.”

“So sweet that you take your parents everywhere you go,” a third user commented.

Earlier, Federer shared a string of photos from his Thailand vacation, which showed him relishing mango sticky rice and local fruits and taking a boat ride.

In January, Roger Federer met Indian Olympic and world champion Neeraj Chopra in Zurich and pictures of their meeting went viral. He presented an autographed tennis racquet to Chopra, while the javelin medallist handed him the former world number 1 signed jersey from the Asian Games.
