“Texas state troopers have been deployed and reportedly made dozens of arrests at the University of Texas at Austin. Harvard Yard has also been taken over by pro-Palestine protesters who are setting up camp after the university threatened to take action,” the post read.

The video accumulated over 12 million views on the platform, prompting reactions from social media users. “My brother attends Columbia and is a National Guardsmen. We need to expel, arrest and deport these terrorists. Simple,” a user wrote about the protesting students. Another user commented, “Round them up and send them over to see first hand what they are defending!”

According to AP, students doubled down early Thursday protesting against the Israel-Hamas conflict on campuses across the country as universities, including ones in California and Texas. Hundreds of local and state police — including some on horseback and holding batons — bulldozed into protesters, causing them to fall onto the streets.
