Paddles, the First Cat of New Zealand, has a Twitter account and travels with Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern. You might envy the luxurious life of this little pet, however, her sassy tweets and engaging pictures will make you fall in love with her. Her Twitter profile reads, "Paddles Ardern-Gayford. Proud to serve as the First Cat of New Zealand. Have thumbs, will tweet. Prrp (Independent cat - not affiliated with the Labour Pawty)". It is not clear who runs Paddles' account, although some have speculated it may be managed by Ardern's partner, Clarke Gayford. We have seen numerous lazy cat videos but this cat was an active member of Ardern's election campaign. "Me before becoming First Cat. Life was so easy. It was the campaign of my life and I am honoured to serve both people and puss" said one of Paddle's tweet.
