The highly-anticipated first-look photos were unveiled ahead of the show’s debut on May 30 in the US via Peacock and on Channel 4 in the UK. It showcases Malala donning a classic western attire, complete with fringe and a cowboy hat, confidently perched atop a horse.

The show is created and written by Nida Manzoor, who is also its executive-producer. Produced by Working Title Television, We Are Lady Parts has garnered attention for its fresh take on Muslim women navigating their lives as part of an all-female punk band. Malala’s cameo adds an unexpected twist to the show’s eclectic mix of characters and storylines.

Malala’s venture into acting marks a departure from her usual endeavors. However, the young activist appears to embrace the role with enthusiasm, embodying the spirit of a modern-day cowgirl in the released images, said a report in Vogue.
