Nishant Dev’s defeat did not sit well with sports enthusiasts, who accused the judges of being “unfair”. Reacting to the news, a user wrote, “THIS IS ROBBERY!! Nishant Dev was the clear winner. Boxing is so rigged, no one knows how the judges are scoring. No transparency, just unorganised & based on favouritism & luck. WWE matches make more sense than this clownery they calling boxing rn!”

“Nishant Dev, robbed of a medal, is caught up in a major scandal involving corruption, bribery, and fixing of matches, with judges signaling each other to manipulate results. The Olympics has faced similar issues before, with many judges and referees being removed due to suspicious outcomes, showing a consistent lack of fairness and transparency. Justice for Nishant Dev!”
