Gald shared the letter from his mother in a Reddit post after she passed away from cancer.

“I miss her every day, and this makes me cry. But I cry with a smile on my face. Times are tough right now because my dad’s now in the ICU due to complications with his own cancer. Just remember to tell the people you love how much they mean to you. And remind them every day that you love them,” he said.

Since Gald posted it on Reddit a few days ago, the message has garnered over 54,000 upvotes, with users expressing their thoughts in the comments section.
