Brazilian model Debora Peixoto, who earlier hogged headlines for applying menstrual blood on her face, has got the Internet talking again with her bizarre skincare routine involving her poop. In an Instagram reel, Peixoto claimed that ‘poop mask’ can prevent ageing.

The viral video shows the influencer taking out a small container from the refrigerator, where she allegedly stores her poop. As the video progresses, she applies the poop all over her face. She blocks her nose with a clip to avoid the smell. Towards the end of the video, she cleans her face and flaunts it to the camera.

“The craziest thing I’ve ever done in my life, I smeared my faeces on his face, now he doesn’t want to be near me lol I saw a study about it and decided to try it! It worked for me, my skin stopped flaking!” the woman said, as per a rough translation of the video from Portuguese to English.

“You should be ashamed of it, be treated,” a third user wrote. “I mean…we can all agree that our intestines eliminate the toxins and that our body does not need,” another user said.

In 2022, social media birthed another bizarre trend where influencers rubbed menstrual blood on their faces because according to them, period blood contains “all the stem cells and all the nutrients that a baby would have needed and of course, that your skin and body needs.”
