The video quickly caught the Internet’s attention, accumulating an array of reactions. “Only one Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has had the Burj Khalifa illuminated in their honor, on multiple occasions, including his birthdays and visits,” a user wrote. “What a beautiful gesture from Dubai. The Burj Khalifa lighting up like this shows how much the relationship between India and the UAE means to ordinary people, not just governments,” another user commented.
“The tallest building, the most popular leader! Wishes pour in from across the world on Modiji’s birthday. A proud sight to behold,” a third user reacted.
Earlier, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan personally extended birthday greetings to Modi on X.
“Sincere congratulations to Narendra Modi on your birthday. I wish you continued good health and happiness, and ongoing success in advancing India’s progress and the prosperity of its people,” the UAE President wrote.
Wishes continued to pour in from world leaders across the globe. WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus also extended his birthday wishes via X, hailing PM Modi’s dedication to public service.
“Happy 75th birthday, Prime Minister @narendramodi! Wishing you all the best. I am impressed by your leadership in action. Even on your special day, you are marking it with the launch of an important initiative to promote and protect women’s health in #India,” Tedros wrote.
Adding to the international gestures, King Charles III of the United Kingdom gifted a Kadamb tree to PM Modi. The gift was inspired by the Indian Prime Minister’s ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, which encourages tree planting in honour of one’s mother.
In a post shared by the British High Commission on X, it wrote, “His Majesty The King has been graciously pleased to send a Kadamb tree to India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday. The gesture, inspired by PM Modi’s ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative, reflects their shared commitment to environmental conservation.”
Other prominent world leaders like Russian President Vladimir Putin, US President Donald Trump, and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, too, extended their heartfelt birthday wishes to Modi.
