Watch: Drunk passenger creates ruckus on Emirates flight, tries to headbutt crew member. Pakistanis demand strict action

The video shows the man in question attempting to headbutt a male flight attendant who pushes him to the ground with the help of another crew member.

Drunk passenger creates ruckus mid-air

A drunk passenger boarded an Emirates flight from Dubai to Islamabad and created a ruckus. He was tackled to the ground by the cabin crew, who restricted him with cable ties. The incident took place on February 25 and was captured by a passenger—which is now viral.

The video shows the man in question attempting to headbutt a male flight attendant who pushes him to the ground with the help of another crew member. As the video progresses, the man can be seen held to the ground by two male crew members while two female attendants hold his legs with cable ties.

A journalist, Amir Mateen, took to X and shared the video. “This happened in Dubai flight to Islamabad this morning. Sent by a passenger who remained terrified during the flight: “Drunk guy extremely violent. Restrained and handcuffed by emirates cabin crew but I think Pak authorities let him go as he was well connected.” Q: who was he and was he left off? @emirates Pl see second video to recognise him,” he wrote.

In the second video, the accused man can be seen detained at the airport and seated in a wheelchair in an inebriated state.

Soon after the video went viral, social media users slammed the man for the same and demanded the airline to take strict action against him. Reacting to the video, a user wrote, “He should be banned from traveling in future by the airline.”

This is not the first incident where a passenger created a ruckus mid-air in flight. In December last year, a man was detained after he attempted to punch police officers on a Spirit Airlines flight from Colombia to Miami.
