It is no secret that people on social media have time and again called out US President Donald Trump for something he had tweeted or said. And ever since he became president, Trump too has provided plenty of opportunities to ‘talk’ about him.

It was only recently that he was severely criticised for his “warmest condolences” tweet to victims who lost their lives in the Las Vegas shooting massacre, and it seems he has made news for all the wrong reasons once again.

Trump recently visited Puerto Rico, which was severely affected by  the worst hurricane in 90 years, Hurricane Maria. At a hurricane relief distribution centre at San Juan, the President was seen in a video throwing paper towels at a crowd of locals.

And soon reactions started pouring in. They were some who were clearly angry with the act.

And then there were some memes.

Two weeks after being ravaged by Hurricane Maria, residents of Puerto Rico are still reeling under its effect. There are several who are struggling without basic necessities.
