Ahmed Mohamed, popularly known as the “clock boy”, finally got his clock back after nearly six weeks it was taken into custody by the Texas police.
Mohamed tweeted about reuniting with his clock late Friday night. A picture of retrieved packet from the authorities was also posted on the micro blogging website, which calls it a “hoax bomb”. The clock has been retrieved after the police mistook it as a “bomb” in September and arrested the 14-year-old when he showed it to his professors as his science project.

But the boy is now all set to leave the country and move to Doha for further education. He was suspended for three days after the arrest and withdrew his enrollment later. Ahmed has received a number of offers from various institutions across the country but they chose Qatari Foundation, which will sponsor his high school and undergraduate education, according to The Dallas Morning News report.
