Jung Ho-seok, better known as J-Hope, member of K-Pop royalty BTS, confirmed in March that he has received the notice for his military enlistment, which makes him the second member of the group to enlist in the military after Jin, who had started the mandatory two-year service in December. J-Hope is expected to start his military service in April.

To wish J-Hope luck for his military enlistment, his former school prepared a dance video based on the ‘On the Street’ dance challenge for the 29-year-old rapper and dancer. On Monday, the official Twitter account of Buk-gu, a district in J-Hope’s hometown Gwangju, shared a video that featured students from the Seoil Elementary School dancing to their famous alumnus’s latest hit.

The ‘On the Street’ dance challenge is based on the song of the same name by J-Hope and American rapper J Cole, which was released on March 3 this year.

In the caption, the district mentioned that the video was made with the help of two J-Hope fan groups, namely the Flower Path Creation Team (@flowerway_hope) and Hop on the World (@HOPEONWORLD_twt).

This video has gathered over 10,000 likes since it was posted. Commenting on it, a Twitter user wrote, “They all cute, thanks you so much for supporting J-hope.” Another person remarked, “You have no idea how emotional this is for us and for our Hobi, thank u for loving him like this.”
