‘I am crying’: DJ Martin Garrix drops photo with Arijit Singh, fans predict collaboration

Famous international disco jockey (DJ) Martin Garrix posted a photo with Bollywood singer Arijit Singh on his Instagram on Wednesday, triggering speculations of a possible collaboration between the two musicians.

Singh, who has garnered a global fan following, had shared his dream of collaborating with Garrix while speaking to artist manager and podcaster Tarsame Mittal last year. He had also hailed Garrix’s music.

In the viral photo shared by Garrix, the duo can be seen flashing smiles as they sit on an outdoor sofa. Singh is seen sitting with a notebook and a pen in his hands, Garrix is seen with a guitar. “Incredible week thank you @arijitsingh,” Garrix wrote on Instagram.

The post garnered over 5,55,500 likes as excited fans flocked to the comment section. Reacting to it, a fan commented, “We got Arijit singh x Martin garrix before GTA 6.” Another fan commented, “Holy sh*t one of the biggest collab is coming wow.”

Who is Martin Garrix?

Born in Amstelveen, Netherlands, Garrix is best known for his hit singles Animals, Scared to Be Lonely and In the Name of Love. Fondly known as Ytram and GRX, Garrix was ranked number one on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list for 2016, 2017 and 2018.

From Coachella to the Ultra Music Festival to Tomorrowland, DJ Garrix has performed at many prestigious music festivals. At 17, he was the youngest DJ to headline the Ultra Music Festival, 2015. He has collaborated with popular music icons including David Guetta and Ed Sheeran.
