Hurun Rich List 2024, Youngest Indian Billionaires: India has recently been witnessing an extraordinary surge in wealth creation, with a new billionaire emerging every five days.

The country’s billionaire population has noted an impressive 29% increase compared to the previous year, as highlighted in the latest Hurun Rich List 2024 report.

This growth has added 220 individuals to the ranks of the ultra-wealthy, bringing the total number of people with a net worth exceeding ₹1,000 crore to 1,539.

This marks a significant milestone, as the list has now crossed 1,500 entries for the first time.

However, achieving billionaire status at a young age is an exceptional and rare feat, especially considering that the average age of billionaires is supposedly 66 years, Forbes reports.

Notably, this year’s Hurun Rich List 2024 has also spotlighted a new generation of entrepreneurs who are harnessing technology and creativity to carve their paths in an increasingly competitive market, thereby redefining success in the business world.

With their innovative ventures and relentless drive, these youngest billionaires are not only amassing significant wealth but also shaping the future of various industries across the nation.

According to the report, founders of quick commerce Zepto, Kaivalya Vohra (21) and Aadit Palicha (22), have emerged as the youngest billionaires in India, with a net worth of INR 3,600 crore and Rs 4,300 crore, respectively.

In contrast, Hanwantbir Kaur Sahney of NRB Bearings Company, at 95 years old, is the oldest billionaire in the list.

“These individuals are driving change across various industries, reflecting the growing influence of India’s youth in the business sector,” the report stated.

With India now boasting a total of 334 billionaires, here’s a look at the top 10 youngest Indian billionaires as of 2024.

Rohan Gupta & Family, 25, of SG Finserve, come in third with a worth of INR 1,300 crore, followed by Shasvat Nakrani, 26, of BharatPe, with a net worth of INR 1,300 crore.

Notably, there is a tie for the sixth position, with Oyo’s Ritesh Agarwal (30), Harsha Reddy Ponguleti (30), Trishneet Arora (30), and Aditya Kumar Halwasia (30) all sharing the same rank.

Rounding up, it’s also noteworthy to mention that Physics Wallah’s founder, Alakh Pandey, 32, has an estimated net worth of 4,500 crore in wealth.
