Top 10 global tech talent markets in 2025: The global technology talent landscape is shifting fast, driven by rapid digitalisation and the rise of AI. Over the past five years, these changes have transformed where companies are hiring—and which cities are emerging as the biggest tech hubs.
According to Colliers’ Global Tech Markets: Top Talent Locations 2025 report, the United States continues to dominate, with 14 cities making it into the top 50 global markets.
The San Francisco Bay Area leads the pack, with Seattle, New York City, and Boston also featuring in the global top 10.
London remains one of the world’s most competitive hubs, ranking secondgloballyand becoming one of only two cities worldwide to achieve an overall score of 4.0; Germany, meanwhile, boasts five cities in the top 50.
Asia, however, is rapidly gaining ground. Beijing, Bengaluru, and Tokyo all feature in the global top 10, cementing their status as centres for high-value tech talent.

While significant tech talent hubs in the United States, like the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, and Seattle, are more renowned, India is rising and showcasing its dominance both globally and in the APAC.
