Global Investment Risk and Resilience Index 2025: Switzerland is the world’s most resilient country for investors in an era of escalating geopolitical, economic, technological, and climate risks, according to the latest Henley & Partners and AlphaGeo Global Investment Risk and Resilience Index 2025.

Driven by exceptionally low risk and world-leading innovation, governance, and social metrics, Switzerland scores 88.42, with a risk score of 9.1 and a resilience score of 85.94, as per the study conducted in October.

The Nordic countries — Denmark, Norway, and Sweden — follow next, with the report highlighting how they are building resilience through equitable growth, robust institutions, and forward-looking social policy.

The only Asian country in the top 10 was Singapore, at the fourth place. It has the lowest legal and regulatory risk globally.

The index evaluates countries’ exposure to the risks as well as their capacity to adapt and recover.

The US, ranked 24th, has strong institutions and adaptive capacity that support its global economic influence alongside other G7 countries, the index highlights.

China is ranked 37th on the index. It balances moderate risk with strong investment capacity and innovation resilience, the report further added.

On the contrary, Lebanon (150th), Haiti (149th), and Pakistan (148th) sit at the bottom of the index, facing significant political instability, economic complexity, and considerable legal and regulatory risks.
