On Facebook, video of an allegedly drunk Delhi cop on metro goes viral

The video shows an allegedly drunk policeman on the Delhi Metro and was shared on Facebook

A video of an allegedly drunk policeman on the Delhi Metro has gone viral on Facebook. The video, which was uploaded on to Facebook by user Amit Thakurajan on August 21, has seen over 19,000 shares and over 600,000 views on the social media site alone.

The video shows a Delhi Police personnel in the metro staggering around in the coach and he appears to be in an inebriated state.

At one point, he tries to get near one of the metro doors thinking it’s about to open, and then walks back back to where he is standing. Towards the end of the video, the cop falls to the ground only to be helped by fellow passengers.

The veracity of the video has not been confirmed. This is not the first ‘Delhi Metro’ video to have gone viral. Previously a video of a man who allegedly starting urinating inside the Delhi Metro had been extensively shared on social media.
