A wholesome story about an unlikely bumblebee rescue and its rehabilitation is winning over the netizens. A video posted by the popular Instagram account Majically News and taken by an artist shows her noticing a bumblebee and then taking care of the injured insect.

In the video caption, Katharina Wallén says she came across the bumblebee while she was on a walk on a country road and it started following her. “She was obviously searching for flowers and was very hungry,” says Wallén.

She says she placed a flower in front of the bumblebee, which looked tired and unable to fly, and watched it devour the nectar and pollen from it. She also noted the bumblebee was unable to fly because one of its wings was broken, so she decided to take it home.

Wallén then created a nest for the insect and started giving her fresh flowers every day. She also made a small cave-like area where the bumblebee could rest. “She’s become a cherished part of our days,” she says.

The average lifespan of a bumblebee is four weeks and in the video, Wallén claimed she has been taking care of the bumblebee for over three weeks now.

This video, documenting how Wallén took note of the small struggling creature and accommodated its needs, is raking in likes.

Commenting on this video, an Instagram user wrote, “Omg… why am I crying ? that’s so awesome what you did and I’m so happy for the BB .. God Bless you !!”.
