Internet firm Google is set to launch an ‘Internet TV’ within six months, which will allow users to surf the device in the same way as the Internet.

Google TV,which is accessed through a special set-top box, would enable viewers to use their device for both television and the Internet simultaneously.

According to the company, the viewers would be able to browse the content on the television and the internet by using a ‘single click’.

The service will also let user switch between the television and internet without adjusting any cables, the Daily Mail reports.

The service also has a special version of YouTube in high definition.

However despite the innovative nature of Google TV,the project has so far failed to take off in the U.S.

This is due to the claims that the device set top box is high priced at about 152 pounds and that the device is difficult to use.
