    Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 launched with AI capabilities for mid-range phones

    Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 mobile chipset brings enhanced performance, gaming, camera, and connectivity features to mid-range devices. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 succeeds the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2, offering next-gen AI, real-time translation, and boosted AI efficiency.

    OLED screens reportedly coming to more iPad models

    A new report claims Apple will bring OLED screens to more iPad models, starting with the 2024 iPad Pro. The iPad Air and 8.7" iPad mini are also said to adopt OLED in 2026. And in 2027, both a new 12.9" iPad Air and revised iPad Pro will purportedly make the switch. Apple has been rumoured to be migrating its iPad and MacBook Pro lines to OLED for some time. If true, this report provides a more concrete roadmap for the transition.

    WhatsApp tests dedicated button for AI chatbot

    WhatsApp is highlighting its new experimental AI chat features by testing a dedicated shortcut button for it. Located in the Chats tab above the icon to start new chats, the button provides quick access to open AI-powered conversations. This follows an announcement by Mark Zuckerberg in September that allowed beta testers in the US to try out AI chatbots that provide suggestions and advice. WhatsApp plans a broader launch to more users as it continues developing the capability.
