Here’s everything Samsung plans to show at its Unpacked event on July 10

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6

The Galaxy Z Fold6 is expected to be the highlight of Samsung’s Unpacked event. Compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold6 is expected to be lighter and thinner. Leaked renders suggest it will have a more rectangular design, similar to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, and it is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

The smartphone will feature a large cover display on the outside and a big foldable screen on the inside, with dimensions likely similar to its predecessor. It will support stylus input, though unlike the Galaxy S Ultra series, the stylus won’t be integral to the phone. Instead, as with its predecessor, it will be part of a special case, likely sold separately.

The Galaxy Z Flip6 is Samsung’s next clamshell format foldable, expected to be similar to its predecessor but with a unique cover display. Despite its compact form factor, it is likely to use the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 as the Galaxy Z Fold6. To differentiate it from the Z Fold5, the Z Flip6 is expected to come in new color options and feature a slightly bigger battery and updated optics.

Samsung Galaxy Buds3, Galaxy Buds3 Pro

Samsung’s upcoming wireless earbuds are expected to resemble Apple’s AirPods lineup. This includes the Buds3, an affordable variant with a design similar to the 3rd-Gen AirPods, and the Galaxy Buds3 Pro, which mimics the AirPods Pro. Unlike the unique bud-like shape of previous Galaxy Buds, the Galaxy Buds3 series will have a different design.

Currently, there is no exact information on the features or capabilities of these earbuds. However, based on current standards, we can expect features like active noise cancellation (ANC), enhanced battery life, HD audio output, and the ability to pair with two devices, among others.

Galaxy Watch7, Galaxy Watch7 Ultra

Samsung is also expected to introduce two new smartwatches: the Galaxy Watch7 and the Galaxy Watch7 Ultra. The Ultra will be the company’s most advanced smartwatch, featuring a titanium frame similar to the Galaxy S24 Ultra. It comes in a square frame with a circular display, and renders hint at a rotating bezel, akin to the Galaxy Watch6 Classic.

Samsung has been teasing the launch of its Galaxy Ring for a while now, and the company is finally expected to introduce it at the Galaxy Unpacked on July 10. The Galaxy Ring is anticipated to be one of the most capable smart rings on the market, featuring a host of generative AI capabilities. Samsung will provide more details at the event.

While these are some of the major products expected at the second Galaxy Unpacked event of 2024, the company might surprise us with additional announcements.
