Music streaming service Saavn has partnered with Paytm to offer mobile wallet payments to Saavn Pro users

Saavn, the leading music streaming service has now partnered with Paytm to bring latter’s mobile wallet option to Saavn Pro users. With Paytm integration, Saavn users can easily upgrade to Saavn Pro on the go and experience ad-free music with unlimited downloads to their devices.

In a country like India where not many people have a credit card, an option like Paytm wallet becomes an ideal choice for making payment on the go. Paytm lets users make bill payments and allows to buy anything from electronics to books.

“Today, with more than 100 million mobile wallet users, Paytm has become the preferred payment option in India, and we have seen an eye-opening double-digit increase in new Saavn Pro subscriptions since this integration. Our aim with every new partnership is to create a fluid end-to-end music listening experience for our users, and this association definitely helps us in achieve that goal,” said Vinodh Bhat, Co-Founder and President, Saavn.

Paytm recently announced 75 million transactions per month and is now being used by companies like Uber, FoodPanda and BookMyShow.

Saavn Pro is the subscription based music streaming model from Saavn which allows users to download unlimited songs that can be listened to even when offline. The feature is currently available only on Saavn Android app.
