OnePlus is taking its products on a road trip across India in a Mercedes truck

One of these special trucks will cover the northern region, visiting cities like Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow, while the other will take the Southern route, covering cities like Coimbatore, Chennai, Pune, Kochi, and more. After the flag-off event, the first experience outlet will be stationed next at ASF Insignia in Gurugram on 16 June, 2023, at Sharda University.

Inside these stores, customers will be able to experience most of the company’s smartphone portfolio, alongside other ‘ecosystem’ devices such as the all-new OnePlus Pad, OnePlus Buds Pro 2, OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro, OnePlus Monitor X 27, and more.

But the true limelight stealer is the OnePlus 11 Concept, though it is not intended for production. It showcases the company’s new Active CryoFlux cooling solution, which uses a miniaturised pump to circulate a heat-absorbing fluid through the phone’s components. The phone was first unveiled at MWC Barcelona earlier this year. However, the cooling effect of this innovative design is rather modest – according to OnePlus’s own data, Active Cryoflux only lowers temperatures by up to 2.1°C.

Besides the concept phone, the experience stores also showcase a “5G-powered” robotic arm that remotely recreates art made on smartphones by the community. While the current implementation is designed to simply mimic the art you draw on a OnePlus Pad, bringing it to life on paper, OnePlus told indianexpress.com that it hopes to see it used in surgery one day.
