LG Electronics is all set to introduce a HDR-compatible 32-inch UHD 4K monitor at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas next month. The monitor’s resolution will be 3840 x 2160 pixels. It supports the HDR 10 standard, which company claims delivers enhanced brightness levels with a wide color gamut image.
The monitor is also equipped with an IPS panel, and True Colour Pro for colour reproduction. The 32 UD99 monitor is equipped with a USB Type C port. It’s encased in a sleek-casing with border-less edges and equipped with a slim ArcLine stand.
The Monitor requires only a single cable to stream images to a 4K display and can also execute data transfer simultaneously. The monitor’s built-in speakers are integrated with LG’s Rich Bass technology.

In addition to the 32 inch UKHD 4K Monitor, LG will also be showcasing 2 Ultra Wide monitors. The first is 34-inch 21:9 UltraWide Mobile+ Monitor, which the company says is the world’s first Chromecast enabled multimedia monitor. The 34UM79M will allow users to seamlessly stream movies, music, games and more from mobile devices directly to the monitor.
LG claims their monitor allows users to simultaneously multi-task between the PC and the mobile device using a single screen. A dual-controller plus feature allows users to control both a PC and a smartphone/tablet via a single keyboard and mouse. The user can also directly control the various settings on the monitor from their mobile phone via a separate LG Mobile+ Monitor application.
The second monitor to be released LG’s 34-inch 21:9 UltraWide gaming monitor equipped with AMD FreeSync technology, 1ms Motion Blur Reduction, Dynamic Action Sync, Black Stabilizer and other features to maximise the PC gaming experience.
“From high-resolution displays compatible with HDR technology to UltraWide monitors optimized for multitasking and gaming, LG is committed to delivering the most innovative, premium monitors in the industry today,” said Brian Kwon president of the LG Home Entertainment Company in a press statement.
