If you are someone who shares photos and reels with friends on Instagram and wants all these pictures, videos, and memes in a single place, then Instagram has introduced the right feature for you. With collaborative collections, users can now save content on Instagram with friends and family, which was previously limited to just a single user.
This is similar to having a dedicated group with friends and family on Instagram, where you can have all the media that you have saved in one place. Similarly, Instagram also allows users to have custom collections with or without friends.
Find a post or reel that you want to save and click on the save icon. Then select “create a new collaborative collection,” toggle the collaborative option, and select the friends that you would like to add to this collection.
The next time you try to save a post, Instagram will ask if you want to save it in the new collaborative collection, which can be named anything, or if you would like to save it in your personal collection. You can create multiple collaborative collections with various groups on Instagram to save reels and posts to watch later.
