Indian wearables brand boAt has launched the Storm Call 3 smartwatch – and it’s the first in the market offering built-in turn-by-turn navigation powered by Mappls MapmyIndia at this price.
The Storm Call 3 comes equipped with an independent navigation system that operates autonomously, providing precise, doorstep-level directions without the need to look at your phone. Leveraging Mappls MapmyIndia’s vast mapping data along with boAt’s Crest app, it delivers accurate, detailed guidance across tens of thousands of cities and lakhs of villages throughout India.
The Storm Call 3 also introduces a nifty QR Tray feature, allowing you to save and access QR codes directly on your watch for added convenience during travel or daily use.
But navigation is just one of the many features. The Storm Call 3 features a 550-nit square dial with a 240*296 resolution and a variety of downloadable or customisable watch faces via the DIY Watch Face Studio. With Bluetooth calling support, a sensitive microphone, and clear onboard speaker, you can make and receive calls directly from your wrist.
The smartwatch also comes equipped with an array of sensors to continuously monitor heart rate, SpO2 levels, and sleep quality, while tracking energy levels and providing personalised sleep scores. Daily activity trackers and sedentary alerts encourage movement, fostering an active lifestyle. Through the Crest app, users can access fitness buddies, wellness crews, gamification, badges, and even design custom run plans.
The Storm Call 3 offers 700+ activity tracking modes and adapts to individual lifestyle preferences, offering tailored modes for various workouts like running, cycling, swimming, and yoga, effectively supporting your fitness endeavors. Its durable IP67 construction safeguards against water, sweat, and dust damage.
Available in four colours – Cherry Blossom, Active Black, Olive Green, and Silver Metal – the boAt Storm Call 3 packs a plethora of features into an affordable Rs 1,099 package.
