3 things that won me over at WWDC 2024
While Apple intelligence took centre stage at WWDC, there were many other announcements such as the new Calculator app for iPad, which is known as Math Notes with support for Apple Pencil. Similarly, Apple also announced new features for AirPods Pro, which includes Siri interactions, which allows users to just shake their heads to receive or reject a call. Lastly, the ability to mirror your iPhone on macOS 15 wirelessly, that too without physically holding the device in hand.
iOS 18 eligible devices
iOS 18, announced at WWDC is coming to over 20 iPhones, which includes the 2nd generation iPhone SE to the latest iPhone 15 series. However, only the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max will gain Apple Intelligence features. Here is the complete list of devices eligible for the iOS 18 update, coming this fall.
iPadOS 18 eligible devices
iPadOS 18 will be available for over 17 different iPad models, including the 1st generation iPad Pro, 7th Gen iPad, 5th Gen iPad mini, and the third generation iPad Air.
