Amazon Fire tablets are known for their affordable price tag, and these devices are mostly focused on content consumption. The e-commerce giant has now launched its most powerful Android tablet — Amazon Fire Max 11, focused on both work and play.
While Amazon Fire Max 11 is the most capable tablet from the company yet, it is still an affordable device with a starting price of $229.99 or approx Rs 19,028. As the name suggests, the tablet comes with an 11-inch display with a native resolution of 2000 x 1200, offering higher pixel density than any of the earlier Fire tablets. It has an 8 MP selfie camera and an 8 MP rear-facing camera with support for up to 1080p video recording.
In terms of processing power, the tablet is powered by the Mediatek MTK8188J 2.2GHz octa-core processor with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage. The tablet runs on Fire OS and is also equipped with Amazon Luna gaming service, which also makes it a gaming device. On a single charge, the laptop can last up to 14 hours and it also supports up to 15W charging via the USB Type-C port.
The Amazon Fire Max 11 is already up for pre-order in the US and the UK for $229.9, which is at least $100 cheaper than the base model iPad. Similarly, the tablet with the folio case and the stylus bundle costs $329.99, which can also be bought individually. Amazon does not sell its Fire tablets in India, and the Fire Max 11 is also unlikely to launch here in India.
