June 5 is celebrated as World Environment Day across the world. To commemorate the occasion, Acer has introduced its latest eco-friendly laptop — the Aspire Vero 2023 in India. This laptop makes use of 30% PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) materials in its body construction, and even the keycaps are made using 50% PCR material. Additionally, the company has pledged to plant one tree for every laptop purchased on June 5 via its official website.
Dubbed as the “green PC,” the 2023 edition of the Aspire Vero comes in two configurations. It features a 13th Gen Intel Core i3/i5 processor with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB SSD-based storage. The laptop includes a 14-inch 1080p display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, Acer Technicolor Colour certification, and an impressive 80.01% screen-to-body ratio.
The notebook offers a USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 port for faster data transfer and supports external monitor output. It has a tenkeyless keyboard with an LED backlight and a glass trackpad that supports multi-gestures and two-finger scrolling. The laptop also houses a fingerprint sensor. Other ports include a dedicated HDMI port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and two USB-A 3.2 ports.
The Acer Aspire Vero is powered by a 50Wh battery with support for fast charging. The base model of the Aspire Vero, featuring the Intel Core i3-1315U processor, is priced at Rs 49,999, while the high-end model with the Intel Core i5-1335U processor costs Rs 64,999.
