X may be working on a Google Meet like meetings feature
The 'Conferences' feature might come as a part of X Spaces. However, it is still not known if and when the functionality will be available to all.

From Grok AI to a LinkedIn-like functionality to help users find jobs, Elon Musks’ X added several new features in the last few months. Now, it looks like the developers are working on a new feature that might enable users to host web conferences on the platform, much like Google Meet.
A recent post on X by the handle @xDaily said X the feature could be a part of X Spaces that allows users to host live audio conversations on the platform.

While the post does not reveal how Conferences will be any different from Spaces, it looks like the upcoming feature might allow users to initiate personal group video and audio calls.
For the uninitiated, X Spaces are public, so anyone on the platform can join as a listener. The upcoming ‘web conference’ feature might restrict random people from entering your group calls and offer a more Google Meet-like experience.
In the last few months, X has rolled out several new features like the ability to call other X users directly from the app and community notes to name a few.
