This year, the OnePlus Nord 5 and the OnePlus Nord CE 5 are getting a bunch of upgrades, including a new design that looks quite similar to the recently launched OnePlus 13s. Unlike its predecessor, which had a metal unibody design, the OnePlus Nord 5 will be getting a metal frame with a glass back and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.
On the back, we will get a dual camera setup that consists of a 50MP Sony LYT-700 primary sensor alongside an 8MP ultrawide shooter. The phone will also sport a 50MP Samsung JN5 selfie camera with auto-focus capability and support for 4K recording.
The latest in the Nord Buds series, the Nord Buds 4 feature a 1Mbps bit rate, 24-bit depth, and 192kHz sample rate, delivering an immersive audio experience. They come with advanced noise reduction and over 200% improved voice cancellation compared to their predecessors. The device also introduces Adaptive Mode, a first for OnePlus, which offers intelligent noise cancelling without letting you miss important announcements.
The Nord CE5 is speed meets performance. The device comes in Black Infinity, Nexus Blue, and Marble Mist. When it comes to performance, the device sports MediaTek Dimensity 8350, which has been fine-tuned for peak performance. It also features a powerful GPU for efficient gaming and effortless multitasking.
The OnePlus Nord 5 comes with an advanced cooling system that ensures seamless performance. Its vapor chamber offers unmatched efficiency. According to the company, the Nord 5 features the largest VC cooling system in its class. It can sustain five hours of 144 FPS gameplay on BGMI and CODM without overheating.

The fifth-gen Nord comes in Dry Ice and Phantom Grey colourways. The Nord 5 comes with a superfast chip that makes everything smoother and more efficient. When it comes to the hardware, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is offering faster processing and enhanced visuals for the gaming experiecnce.
Alongside the new Nord 5 series smartphones, OnePlus is also launching the OnePlus Buds 4, its latest pair of wireless earbuds. These earbuds will be getting a dual DAC dual driver setup and have features like LHDC 5.0 and 3D Spatial Audio. With Active Noise Cancellation up to 55dB, the OnePlus Buds 4 will offer a battery life up to 45 hours with the case.
OnePlus has confirmed that the Nord CE 5 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex, which is way faster than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 on the Nord CE 4. However, the more affordable phone will retain its plastic back design. On the battery front, the company has confirmed that the phone will have a 7,100mAh battery, but details about the charging speed are yet to be known.
With the Nord 5, OnePlus is ditching its unibody metal design and going with a metal frame and glass back combo. The Nord 5 will be sporting the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, which performs similarly to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 found on the likes of the Nothing Phone (2). The upcoming premium mid-range device is also expected to get a huge 7,000mAh Silicon Carbon battery, which should help the phone last 2 days on light to moderate usage. As for the display, the Nord 5 is getting a 144Hz panel, which should help with gaming and make select applications feel smoother.
