
While Xiaomi today sent media invites for its MI UI 7 New Delhi launch event on August 19, the Chinese smartphone major has already launched its next UI along with three new Redmi Note 2 smartphone in Beijing.

Xiaomi is known for similarly pricing its products across different markets and the new Redmi Note 2 variants are expected to be priced between Rs 7,999 and Rs 9,999. At its Beijing event today, Xiaomi launched two version of Redmi Note 2 smartphone- one with dual 4G SIM slots and the other variant with 4G+3G slots- and the Redmi Note 2 Prime with double internal memory at 32GB.
The new Redmi Note 2 range sports a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD display along with a 13MP f/2.2 rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Powered by Android 5.0-based MIUI 7, all the models run on the latest 64-bit Helio X10 (A53 architecture) octa-core processor with 2GB RAM. Both the Redmi Note 2 versions offer 16GB internal storage while the Prime version comes with 32GB ROM. All powered by the same 3,060 mAh battery.
