Vivo has launched two new selfie-centric smartphones in China. Vivo X7 and X7 Plus seem like copy of Oppo’s F1 series, which were dubbed as the best camera-centric smartphones in the market.
Vivo X7 and X7 Plus feature unibody metal design crafted out of one piece aluminium-magnesium alloy. Vivo claims the devices offer better grip due to the new design.
Vivo X7 and X7 Plus are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 652 processor coupled with 4GB RAM. There is Adreno 510 GPU for graphics processing.

Vivo X7 and X7 Plus feature a front fingerprint scanner and the smartphone offer a new global eye mode that filter blue light. Vivo claims it will relieve users of visual fatigue.
Vivo X7 features a 5.2-inch Full HD display while X7 Plus has a slighly larger 5.7-inch display. Both the phones sport a Super AMOLED display panel.
As far as camera is concerned, Vivo X7 and X7 Plus feature a 16MP front camera like Oppo F1 Plus. Vivo X7 gets a 13MP rear camera while X7 Plus has a 16MP rear shooter.
Both phones are running Funtouch OS based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Vivo X7 is priced in China at 2,498 Yuan (approximately Rs 25,260).
