Vivo India, which has been teasing the launch of its ‘Faster than Faster’ smartphones for quite some time has launched V3 and V3Max devices in India. While Vivo V3 costs 17,980; V3Max will be available at Rs 23,980. The smartphones are company’s effort to sell a high-end performance device at a reasonable price to match.
Vivo V3 and V3Max smartphones feature metal uni body design and have rear fingerprint scanner. Vivo has also added Hi-fi music to both the smartphones.
Vivo V3 comes with a 5-inch HD display and has octa-core Snapdragon 616 for all the processing power. The smartphone comes with 3GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage.

Speaking at the launch, Alex Fong, Vivo India CEO said, “Vivo V3 and V3Max smartphones will be a landmark for Vivo India. India remains our primary focus and today’s launch will serve as testimony of our commitment to our Indian customers.”
On the other hand, Vivo V3Max features a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 652 processor. The octa-core processor is clocked at 1.8GHz.
Vivo V3Max looks and feels like V1Max that came before it. Vivo V3 Max comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage that is further expandable to 128GB.
Both the devices come with 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. Both the models support Dual SIM but V3 has separate slot for memory card. Vivo V3 and V3Max also support 4G LTE bands based on CAT6 technology.

As far as battery is concerned, Vivo V3 is backed by a 2550mAh battery and V3Max has a 3000mAh Li-Ion battery. Vivo V3Max supports Qualcomm’s QuickCharge 2.0 technology for fast charging.
Vivo, which is the title sponsor for IPL 2016, has roped in Ranveer Singh as it’s brand ambassador. The company says it will be able to reach young Indian audience with Ranveer at the helm.
Vivo V3 and V3Max smartphones run Funtouch OS 2.5 based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Vivo has added features like screen-split in order to appeal to younger audience.
