Almost all the major Android smartphone makers have now announced their upcoming devices, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Here are five such devices that are coming to India, which will be worth waiting for.

It’s been a while since realme launched a flagship smartphone in India, and the company is making a comeback with style, and claims that the realme GT 7 Pro will be the first Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered smartphone to launch in India. According to the company, the realme GT 7 Pro will be introduced in November, and the device will be available on sale via Amazon.
The Xiaomi 15 will be the first smartphone in the world to ship with Snapdragon 8 Elite, and the device will be introduced early next week. The smartphone will be first introduced in China, and the device will make its way into other markets like India at a later date.
The OnePlus 13 is yet another Snapdragon 8 Elite powered smartphone, launching on October 31. OnePlus has already confirmed all the major features of its upcoming flagship, which includes a flat 2K resolution display, and a triple 50 MP camera setup, and the device will support up to 120W fast charging with 50W wireless charging.

The iQOO 12 was the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered phone in India, and the iQOO 13 will be one of the first smartphones to be launched with the Snapdragon 8 Elite in India. In terms of looks, the iQOO 13 looks almost similar to its predecessor. However, it does pack a few changes, including an RGB light ring around the camera. The device is arriving in China on October 30, and the brand has also teased that the device will launch in India very soon.

Asus is continuing its gaming smartphone series, and the ROG Phone 9, arriving on November 19 will also be amongst the first set of Snapdragon 8 Elite powered devices. Compared to other smartphones, this device is expected to offer slightly better performance, as it packs a best-in-class cooling solution to enable sustained peak performance.
While Samsung has not confirmed anything about the Galaxy S25 series, they are most likely to be powered by a speed-binned Snapdragon 8 Elite. However, the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and the S25 Ultra won’t be arriving at least until early 2025.
