The Galaxy S23 FE might look similar to the vanillla version of the Galaxy S23. (Express Photo) Samsung is reportedly preparing for a launch event sometime during the last quarter of the year. The upcoming event might see the tech giant launching the much-anticipated Galaxy S23 FE alongside the Tab S9 FE.
The information comes from a post on X by tipster Max Jambor, who says that the South Korean phone manufacturer will unveil two Fan Edition devices and other IoT products. However, they will not be showcased at the Internationale Funk Ausstellung 2023 (IFA) that will soon take place in Berlin, Germany.
This goes against previous speculations suggesting that Samsung would launch the Fan Edition devices sometime in September. Last month, when the company launched its latest foldable devices and a bunch of other products at the Galaxy Unpacked event, a company executive confirmed that a Galaxy FE device was underway, but did not say when Samsung would launch the device.

Rumour has it that the upcoming Galaxy S23 FE will feature a 6.40-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen backed by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset in some regions and the Exynos 2200 in others.
The phone will reportedly come with 8GB RAM and offer up to 256GB internal storage with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 25W charging. We might also see a triple camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 12MP telephoto lens.
Almost a month ago, Samsung accidentally listed the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE Plus on its French website for the Bixby app, saying the devices were ‘available’.
While nothing is official at the moment, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE Plus are said to have 11-inch and 12.4-inch screens. Both tablets are rumoured to be powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset and come with up to 8GB RAM.
