Nothing is expected to launch a new flagship — the Nothing Phone (3) soon, which is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, Qualcomm’s value flagship processor.
According to a report by 91Mobiles, the upcoming Nothing Phone (3) will offer some serious performance upgrades thanks to the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, possibly along with new generative AI capabilities. It is also suggested that the Nothing Phone (3) might come with a price bump compared to its predecessor.
The report also highlights that the Phone (3) might come with a price hike, and the device is reported to cost between Rs 40,000 to Rs 45,000, competing against the likes of the OnePlus 12R (review). This could end up being the most expensive phone that the company has ever launched.
While there is no official timeline for the launch of Phone (3) yet, the company is teasing a new product launch on social media platforms, and the brand is most likely to announce the Nothing Phone (3) in the second half of 2024. The company just launched its latest budget smartphone — Phone (2a) (review), powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC, and it is also the first smartphone from the company to offer generative AI features like wallpaper generator.
Except for the processor, there isn’t much information about the Phone (3). Considering the trend, the company is most likely to offer a transparent design with an improved version of glyph lighting just like Phone (2), powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The phone is likely to come equipped with a better display, improved cameras, and a premium glass sandwich design, similar to its predecessor.
