How to live stream the Nothing Phone (2a) unveiling in India

Nothing is all set to unveil its third smartphone — Phone (2a). This time, it is a mid-tier 5G device, powered by a custom processor. The company is hosting the physical launch event at Yashobhoomi, Delhi, on March 5, at 5 PM IST. Additionally, the company will also live-stream the event via the official website and YouTube.

The London-based consumer electronics company has already confirmed some of the capabilities of the Nothing Phone (2a) and has revealed that the phone is powered by a “custom-built” Mediatek Dimensity 7200 Pro with up to 256 GB of storage and 12 GB of RAM.

Post-launch, Nothing is also hosting a #THE100 Drops event across major cities worldwide such as London, Bengaluru, Berlin, Barcelona, Paris, Dubai, and more on select dates. The first 100 buyers will receive an exclusive goodie bag with a custom Phone (2a) case and other items. Similar to earlier models, the Phone (2a) will be available for purchase exclusively on Flipkart post-launch in India. The company also sold tickets for the Nothing Phone (2a) launch event, providing enthusiasts access to watch the live unveiling of the product.

What do we know so far about Nothing Phone (2a)?

It has been confirmed that the Nothing Phone (2a) will be an affordable smartphone and is expected to be the most affordable device the company has ever launched. Similar to the first two phones from the company, the Phone (2a) offers a unique transparent-like design, revealing some of the internals of the device. It also features simplified Glyph lighting with a centre-aligned horizontal dual-camera setup, giving the phone a fresh look, which the company calls “Fresh. Eyes.”

Nothing has also stated that the phone comes with a plastic frame, a first for a Nothing Phone. According to leaks, the Phone (2a) will pack a 5,000 mAh battery, the largest seen so far on a Nothing Phone. Nothing has teased a collaboration with Perplexity AI; however, as of now, there is no clarity on how the company will incorporate AI into the Phone (2a).

Lastly, the Phone (2a) is likely to ship with NothingOS 2.5 based on Android 14. The smartphone is expected to be priced around Rs 25,000, and we anticipate the company to launch the device in at least two storage variants. Besides the Phone (2a), the company is also expected to announce a few CMF-branded accessories at the launch event.
