Nothing on Monday announced a new variant of its Phone (2a) exclusively for India in blue colour. The new variant will be available for purchase starting May 2 on Flipkart at the same price as the regular edition: Rs 23,999. With a flat Rs 1,000 discount and exchange offer, the base variant of the Phone (2a) (review) with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage will be available for an effective price of Rs 19,999. Select day one buyers might also get Nothing audio products, as the company is also hosting a giveaway during the sale. The Phone (2a) is already available in two colours worldwide. The latest edition comes in a dark blue finish, featuring a polycarbonate frame and back panel, and even the package comes in a matching blue colour. Except for the new look, the specifications of the device are exactly identical to those of the white and black variants of the Nothing Phone (2a). The Nothing Phone (2a) is the third smartphone from the London-based consumer electronics company, and it is also the most affordable smartphone that the company has launched, featuring a transparent design with Glyph lighting. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC with 8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage. The device comes with a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor, and the phone runs on Android 14-based NothingOS with AI features like wallpaper generator, ChatGPT integration, and more.
