LeEco sells 2,00,000 units of its Le Superphones in less than 30 days

LeEco has announced that it has sold 2 lakh Le Superphones in just 30 days. The company made its India debut on January 20.

LeEco has announced that it has sold 2 lakh Le Superphones in just 30 days. The company made its India debut on January 20.

LeEco announced two phones – Le 1s and Le Max during its January 20 event. Its budget offering Le 1s was priced at Rs 10,999 while Le Max was announced for Rs 32,999.

“The Superphones are powered by our strong ecosystem of multiple devices, content, cloud and platform. The incredible response from our consumers is very humbling and it re-affirms that our proposition of breakthrough technology, comprehensive ecosystem and sustainable disruptive pricing is being well received by our consumers,” said Atul Jain, COO, Smart Electronic Devices, LeEco India.

The company created industry records during its flash sale of Le 1s, where in the Superphone received a record-breaking cumulative 20,28,000 registrations across its three flash sales, the highest number in the industry ever. Another industry record was created recently when the company announced to have received 220,000 (2.2 lacs) total orders within the shortest time of 31 seconds in the 3 flash sales. The company’s global reputation, edge over competition given its content ecosystem, remarkable technology expertise, incredibly lower than the industry BOM cost valuation have attributed to these records.

LeEco smartphones which run custom android-based EUI system is expected to receive contents uploaded in the second quarter of this year. LeEco has announced that it has 555 service centres in prime locations in the country.
