
Lava on Tuesday has unveiled its latest 5G smartphone — Blaze Curve. Powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 7050 SoC, the Lava Blaze Curve is currently one of the most affordable 5G smartphones with a curved display. Available in two colour options — Iron Glass and Viridian Glass, the base model of the Blaze Curve is priced at Rs 17,999 and the 256 GB variant retails for Rs 18,999. Both variants will be available for purchase starting March 11 via Amazon and the company’s official website.
The triple rear-camera setup on the Lava Blaze Curve 5G includes a 64 MP primary shooter, an 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2 MP macro lens. There is also a 32 MP selfie camera at the front, located within the punch hole cutout. The device ships with Android 13 (stock UI), and the company has confirmed that the device will be updated to Android 14 in the coming days, and will also receive an Android 15 update in the future.
A 5,000 mAh battery fuels the device with support for 33W fast charging, and the fast charger is included in the box. Like most recently launched Lava smartphones, the company is offering free service at home for the first 12 months.
