Apple is said to be developing two additional iPhones – iPhone Slim and iPhone SE – besides the regular models, and according to Revegnus, a prominent leakster, the next-generation iPhone SE might receive a price hike of up to 10 per cent, which could drive up the price to $452 in the US. Considering these numbers, the iPhone SE 4 might cost well within Rs 50,000 in India.

Apple iPhone SE is an affordable and compact offering from the company, and the current generation model carries a starting price of $429, and the next model is reported to be on the expensive side, still well within the $499 price mark due to several hardware upgrades.

Speculated to launch in 2025, the affordable iPhone is said to look similar to the iPhone 14 with a few cutdowns such as a single camera at the back, and just like the iPhone 15 series, the next iPhone SE is also speculated to include a USB-C port.

Apple released the current iPhone SE back in 2022 with a smaller 4.7-inch screen, while the upcoming model is said to include a 6.1-inch screen, possibly an OLED with a 60Hz refresh rate, and it is also said to have a notch with Face ID setup, which could make it the most affordable iPhone with Face ID at launch, and it could also get the brand new action button, similar to the iPhone 15 Pro.

Besides, the 4th Gen iPhone SE is likely to be powered by either the A16 or A17 Bionic processor, and this time around, the company might offer 128 GB of internal storage on the base model, which is double that of the current model.

The possible set of features makes the iPhone SE almost on par with the regular iPhones such as the iPhone 14, which are already available for around Rs 50,000 in India.
